Call to Worship
L: Thou makest springs gush forth in the valleys; they flow between the hills.
P: They give drink to every beast of the field.  The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
L: By them the birds of the air have their habitation; they sing amon the branches
P: From thy lofty abode thou waterest the mountains, the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy work

Prayer of Invocation:  We who “were once far off have been brought near in the blood of the Anointed one.”  Jesus, come and be with us today.  You are our peace, and our all in all.  Amen.

Praise Songs (E) 225 Holy Ground, 7 Lamb of God, 63 Beautiful

Prayer of Confession: Almighty God, by faith you raised Jesus from death to life and crowned him Lord of all, for our sake.  We confess that we have not bowed before him, or acknowledged him King of Kings and Lord of Lords.   We have gone along with the ways of the world and turned from him.  We reject the only justice there is, your justice.  We make our own way but in truth there is but one way, the way of Jesus. In our sin and because of our many burdens and sorrows, we cannot see his beautiful face anymore. Heavenly Father help us.   In your compassion raise us from sin that we may be your faithful people obeying the commands, following after our pastor, and our friend the Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Assurance of Pardon: Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name!  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives your iniquity, and heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit, and crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, and satisfies you with good as long as you live, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.  Friends, behold the Lamb of God, in him our release is secured and our sins are forgiven through the shedding of his blood.  This is the richness of God’s grace lavished upon us.  Hear the good news.
P: In Jesus Anointed, we are forgiven. Amen.
